The feared criminal masterminds of Arkham Asylum have escaped, and are on the brink of overthrowing Gotham City. As the night falls, there is only one Hero that can stop them. Batman. Take control of Batman and Robin, to leap across the rooftops of Gotham City, and dive into the corrupt streets. Or, if you have a change of heart, join The Joker, The Riddler and other power crazy characters in plotting Gotham's demise.

The game has a fresh new angle to it, letting you throw batarangs and use different suits to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Villains also have their own missions, which are just as entertaining as the hero ones.

Anyone searching for the ultimate co-op experience on the Wii should look no further than LEGO Batman.

With a unique plot, great characters, and gameplay that’s fun for both kids and adults, Lego Batman continues the sheer fun of the series and is a great game on all available platforms.

Whether you’re a parent looking for a family friendly game that young kids can enjoy and play without much help or a Batman fan who always wanted to run around as a the caped crusader; the game doesn’t miss on any mark. For anyone who found LEGO Indiana Jones frustrating, this is a must buy.

Grown-ups will find it cute enough for a single playthrough, but kids will be wearing the disc out for weeks to come. Another hugely entertaining, carefully constructed gem of kiddy gaming.

A thoroughly entertaining game that has a wide appeal for young and old. The low level of violence and simplicity of challenge makes it easy to play. A good solid family game that we highly recommend.

Lego Batman represents the first real misstep from developer Traveller's Tales in their moderately popular Lego franchise.

If Traveller’s Tales can figure out how to put a little more production into the graphical presentation and include an online cooperative mode, you might just see the next LEGO title as a potential GOTY candidate if they keep up their stellar success of churning out real winners.

While not necessarily a bad game, Lego Batman scrapes through under the definition of 'fun'.
